  A high quality American-made counterbore made by WL Fuller. Made of stainless steel & hardened, this counterbore is hard enough to hold an edge & yet can be sharpened with a file. These type “R” counterbores have two flutes & are used to cut flat bottom holes in wood or plastic for heads of screws, rivets, or nails. The counterbore is deep enough for a wood plug over the head of the screw or rivet. With extension lip pattern cutting edges, this counterbore cuts a clean hole without tearing. The counterbore is held in place with two hex-socket set screws fastened into the bit & is easily adjustable up & down the length of the drill bit if the need arises, they also can be used with stop collars to control the depth of cut, See here for our Stop Collars.  Made in the USA.
