Handmade quilted textile featuring a checkerboard pattern in shades of blue and cream. The central panel showcases a traditional checkerboard design, bordered by a cream sashing and a wider border of alternating diamond-shaped blue and cream fabrics. The outer edge is finished with a distinctive zig-zag scalloped trim. The reverse side of the quilt is a solid cream fabric with visible quilting stitches.
