The Collected Mohsen: My World in Poems

I have been writing poems for over 65 years. However, aside from a few instances, such as sharing a few on Facebook early this century, displaying one of my poems and its translation on an aluminum plaque in the Math/Science division of the College of San Mateo, and including one of my poems about human nature and mathematics in my master’s thesis on the Manifold Structure of Special and General Relativity, I have not publicly shared them. Upon reaching my eightieth birthday, I felt it was time to share some of my poems with the public. When I married my wife, Lynn, an artist, thirty-five years ago, I decided to become a painter. I have painted ever since and have lectured on the nature of human understanding and its connection to mental imagery for students and the public. In that role, I have created a world of images on canvas, chalkboard, and within my poems. In that spirit, in The Collected Mohsen: My World in Poems, I have enhanced some of my poems with my artwork to stimulate a higher level of mental imagery. With humility, I hope you enjoy reading them.Mohsen Read more
