After a four-year hiatus, Chevy® released the popular Camaro® in a completely new design. This was intended to be reminiscent of the famous 1969 Camaro®, Chevy's® most popular model to date. It was first shown at the North American International Auto Show in 2006 and was an instant sensation. It was designed by South Korean-born Sangyup Lee. In 2010, the first mass-produced models rolled off the production line.
