This is a generic filter manufactured by Envirocare. The outer foam filter does have the capability to be cleaned with warm water and a mild detergent. The inner pleated filter on the other hand is not washable. To get the maximum performance out of your vacuum cleaner, it is recommended to replace both every 6 months.
