[custom_html] The generic Style 7 & 8 Foam Bissell Pre Motor Filter and Upper Tank Filter come in a set together. The Pre Motor filter plays an important role in your vacuum cleaner by protecting the motor from the finest dirt particles that can harm your machine. The Pre Motor Filter can be accessed by sliding out the tray below the Dirt Container. This filter is washable, therefore if it becomes dirty, wash with warm water or a mild detergent. The Upper Tank Filter can be replaced by first taking the Dirt Container off of your vacuum and then directly underneath the Upper Tank turn the rim of Filter Frame to access the filter. In order to clean this particular filter it should only be wiped with a damp cloth.
